We find some cool stuff behind the plastered walls.

door indention

Yes! Yes! Yes!!!

We made our first discoveries!

The first, a niche inside a corner wall! What was it? A boarded up window? A bookshelf? Random storage?

The dividing shelf was broken long ago but we see from the part hidden by the dividing wall that the shelf once had a smooth round finish.

Later on a separate wall we found this door indention. At first we thought maybe it was a walled up door, but maybe it’s just an indention in the stonework so the door can open all the way.

This is why I said we couldn’t make any floor plans yet! Discoveries like this will determine how we distribute the rooms as we want to work with and restore features like this as much as possible!!!
